OUR MISSION
Native Forests is a non-profit environmental conservation organization focused on biodiversity and climate change. We help reforest wild lands by planting native trees and shrubs, which promote natural biodiversity and absorb carbon dioxide from the air.
OUR VISION
The two biggest environmental threats facing the world today are global warming and loss of biodiversity. Native Forests addresses both with a simple solution: donor funded reforestation of wild lands with the native trees and shrubs of the region. Native plants support a diverse web of other native species (insects, birds, spiders, etc) that cannot thrive on the non-native vegetation that often invades wild lands after forest fires, etc.
